The Lakewood Boys Tennis Team won the Eaglecrest Tournament for the second year in a row. Despite only having 3 players (out of 11) with any significant Varsity experience, the Tigers dug deep and pulled out some impressive wins. Winners at the tournament included 1 singles Junior Michael Bennett, who defeated 3 high quality opponents, coming up clutch in 3 tiebreakers. 2 singles Freshman Jake Haas was very impressive, not dropping a set. 3 Doubles Sophomores Fin Reichert and Caden Snow and 4 doubles Juniors Stevie Komon and Matthew Kallander both came through in 3rd set tiebreakers. 1 Doubles Junior Tommy Landmark and Sophomore Adam Abrahamson and 2 Doubles Xander Nobel Rudolph and Leo Stafford were both runners up while Junior Colin Jacobs at 3 singles finished 4th. It was an outstanding performance by the entire team. The Tigers start Jeffco League play after Labor Day when they travel to defending champion Valor Christian
