A Message From the Coach
I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the head
coach of the Lakewood High School Volleyball Program. My name
is Sara Jackson and I am beyond excited to begin this journey with
you all.
In my time as a player, I played for Front Range Volleyball club,
started all four years on varsity at Ponderosa High School (when it
was much bigger than it is now), and earned a full-ride scholarship
to the University of Wyoming. After graduating from Wyoming with a
degree in Elementary Education. I began coaching in the Denver area for
various volleyball clubs and my old high school. I decided to retire
from playing and coaching when my two children were very young.
However, when my daughter’s team at Conifer High School needed
a coach two years ago, I came out of retirement. Since my return to
the court, I also began coaching club ball for Denver Juniors.
