Lakewood High School has a proud tradition of sports and scholastic achievements. We sponsor 22 sports and compete at the 5A level determined by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). Nearly half of our 1,800 students participate in a sport, and some have continued at the college level.
We welcome home-schooled athletes, as well as those from private, charter, or other Jeffco high schools that don’t offer their sport. Conversely, if our students want to play a sport not offered at Lakewood, they can join a team at another Jeffco high school.
