Boys Ice Hockey is a CHSAA Winter sport offered at several Jeffco high schools, but not at Lakewood High. Boys from Lakewood may join a Jeffco team and have been valued players on the teams at Chatfield, Columbine, Ralston Valley and Dakota Ridge. The sport is also offered at Standley Lake high school.
The boys are expected to attend all practices and games during the season, keep up their grades for eligibility, and they may also letter if they attain certain criteria as a varsity player. Lakewood boys would still earn an orange Lakewood chenille "L" if they lettered while playing on any of these teams.
