Girls Lacrosse is a CHSAA Spring sport offered at several Jeffco high schools, but not at Lakewood High. Girls from Lakewood may join a Jeffco team and have been valued players on the teams at Golden, Green Mountain, Ralston Valley and Dakota Ridge high schools. The sport is also offered at Bear Creek, Chatfield, Columbine, Conifer and Evergreen high schools.
The girls are expected to attend all practices and games during the season, keep up their grades for eligibility, and they may also letter if they attain certain criteria as a varsity player. Lakewood girls would still earn an orange Lakewood chenille "L" if they lettered while playing on any of these teams.
To join a Girls Lacrosse team, visit that school's web site for details on registration, a possible pre-season camp and tryouts.
