Boys and Girls Alpine and Nordic Skiing are CHSAA Winter sports. They are only offered at one Jeffco high school - Evergreen High. Skiers from across Jeffco and the metro area are grouped into one team which competes against other teams across the state. Lakewood typically has about five students each year on Evergreen's team.
The athletes are expected to attend all practices and competitions during the season, keep up their grades for eligibility, and they may also letter if they attain certain criteria as a varsity skier. Lakewood athletes would still earn an orange Lakewood chenille "L" if they lettered while playing on this team.

The Jefferson County Alpine Ski Team is looking for new recruits. Join us on Tues, Oct. 24th at 6:30PM to learn more! We will meet in the Evergreen High School library for a short informational meeting about the ski team and what we’re all about. Coaches and racers will also be there to provide additional information. Go Jeffco!!
